I am having the same problem with my NAD C390DD amp with BluOS MDC module.
Intel NUC running ROCK
Everything wired.
My problem occurs whenever I select an MQA track from Tidal to the C390DD endpoint. I get the error “Roon lost control of the audio device” and must power cycle the amp to recover. (It disappears from my endpoints list).

I can play MQA tracks on other endpoints (Raspberry Pi)

I can play MQA tracks on the C390DD amp using the BluOS app on my Android tablet.

I can play Hi-Res tracks from local NAS storage.
