I don’t think NAXOS/ROON integration, like that with Tidal, is affected by MQA. I understand it is more about corporate business models and collaboration…

Yeah seems like Naxos has been an ask for a long time now and nothing happening… Too bad. 
Naxos is a shell of what it once was. Don’t really care anymore.
Naxos / ClassicsOnline has and always has had an intractable relationship with OraStream, who provide the infrastructure for the streaming and the user interface for the service. OraStream has its own interests in being the (only) interface for the services, and so I doubt they would ever agree to provide Roon the data dump and level of control Roon would need to take over delivery of service.

And today, Naxos announced to its users that ClassicsOnline will be totally shut down on January 31, 2017. So this discussion becomes moot.
On that sad note, we’ll close this thread. Hopefully some kind of streaming Classical Phoenix might rise from the ashes and integrate with Roon.
