Netgear Orbi help!

In trying to set up Roon ARC I get this message

{
“connectivity”: {“status”:“NetworkError”,“status_code”:504,“error”:“error: Error: ETIMEDOUT, response code: undefined, body: undefined connected? undefined”},
“external_ip”: {“actual_external_ip”:“82.aaa.bbb.ccc”,“actual_external_ipv6”:“null”,“router_external_ip”:“null”},
“natpmp_autoconfig”: {“status”:“NotFound”},
“upnp_autoconfig”: {“status”:“NotFound”}
}

Using portforwarding - i tried Upnp - no joy either

Should UPnP be turned off if using Port-forwarding? My Orbi works with a Virgin Superhub

Turning UPnP on the error message is

{
“connectivity”: {“status”:“NetworkError”,“status_code”:504,“error”:“error: Error: ETIMEDOUT, response code: undefined, body: undefined connected? undefined”},
“external_ip”: {“actual_external_ip”:“82.aaa.bbb.ccc”,“actual_external_ipv6”:“null”,“router_external_ip”:“null”},
“natpmp_autoconfig”: {“status”:“NotFound”},
“upnp_autoconfig”: {“server_ip”:“192.168.1.1”,“found_upnp”:true,“error”:“<s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/\” s:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/\“><s:Body><s:Fault>s:ClientUPnPError<UPnPError xmlns="urn:schemas-upnp-org:control-1-0">718ConflictInMappingEntry</s:Fault></s:Body></s:Envelope>”}
}

Had the same problem with my Orbi. Solution is to assign a fixed IP address to your Core, then explicitly add Roon ARC on port forwarding for port 55000. You can turn off UPNP at that point. UPNP on the Orbi doesn’t work well with ARC.

Thanks for the responses

How do I assign a Fixed IP - also the Virgin IP is 192.168.0 not .1 - what does that mean? Roon indicates an IP thsat is .1?

Update - solved

Virgin - UPnP on, Port forwarding to the Orbi IP, but on the Port indicated by Roon

Orbi - static IP assigned in its settings
