Hi @crim_tears,

I’d first try creating a manual port forwarding rule in your router settings, using the port number and IP address listed in Roon Settings → ARC.

Some Singtel users have reported that their dynamic IPv4 assignment can block port forwarding. If you’re still having trouble after creating a manual rule, then I recommend trying Tailscale as an alternative for NAT traversal:

Please let us know if this helps!

Hi @crim_tears,

We’re not able to confirm from diagnostics whether you’ve successfully circumvented the double-NAT blocking your RoonServer connection to ARC.

Have you tried creating a TCP manual port forwarding rule in your router, matching the port number and IP address in Roon Settings → ARC?

If you’ve not been successful with port forwarding, I’d encourage you to setup Tailscale instead. You’ll need to install the app on both your RoonServer machine and the phone with which you use ARC.

Please visit the link above for specific Tailscale instructions. We’ll watch for your response. Without any post from the OP, this thread will automatically close after several days. Thank you!
