New release 2.65 works great. Roon feels faster and snappier than ever.

And wow, a small but meaningful feature update to the My Albums view Sort by -function, random sort! Great tool for rediscovering your own library again and again and again… This a welcome feature, especially with larger libraries. Thank you!

Nice isnt it? Sometimes the smaller changes are all that’s needed to make things fresh.

I adore the new random view. I’ve long kept my Album View on Date Added so I can scroll to some random point in the past and cue up music I’d forgotten about (I forget an awful lot). I can see I’ll be using this all the time now.

Also, like the OP said, this update seems snappy as heck. Good job y’all!

I have mostly used Date added -sort also. But with it, the albums are always in same order, which, after eight years of use, you kind of remember. Random is great since it completely reorders everything. You stumble upon lost and forgotten albums in your own library.

I have to say, I have been fairly critical of Roon in the past, but this new update is great :slightly_smiling_face: I really hope for stability, but what I see this morning is promising.

Loved that in Navidrome - great view to re-discover less often played albums.

Definitely, this new revision is a dramatic improvement—much more stable and faster.

I was a bit hesitant since I was affected by running software that fell short of the new requirements, but in the end, I made it work.

I do not get the random option

Please ensure that you have updated your Roon client(s) as well as your Roon Server to the latest version.

What does Roon’s :gear: > About screen say about your installed versions? For example:

Roon server says same as yours. I’m on iPad and no update for the Roon remote on iPad yet. Guess that’s why?

I am noticing way more unavailable tracks in focus available. There are now 770 unavailable and rising. Streaming Qobuz This sucks. So now I have to go to each album, delete it, and add working version. Unbelievable

Qobuz changing versions again… It’s always been this way.

Went from 0 to now 850. Maybe this was the problem. They had too many unavailable tracks.
