Description of Issue

Newly acquired NAD C388 is showing up as “uncertified”. I’ve updated all the BluOS firmware – Roon is reporting version BluOS 3.20.25 w/ RAAT SDK 1.1.36. I’ve tried rebooting Room Core and verified the C388 is working properly via BluOS. The C388 does give an input option of Roon Ready so it seems like it’s working properly. I suspect this has something to do with Roon more than the NAD. It’s possible the C388 was discovered before the firmware was update so maybe the audio device in Roon is stale?

Got it! Apparently the NAD C388 was the one that was ‘stale’. A full power disconnect/cycle of the NAD resolved the issue.
