Hi, not sure where this question belongs, but any idea why the new Sabrina Carpenter album (which came out last Friday and is on Tidal, my Roon streaming service of choice) is not on Roon? I can’t find it via searching or browsing her discography (see screenshot). It’s in the Tidal app, though.

Sometimes there can be a delay between when the album is released and when it appears in Roon depending on when the metadata cloud servers have been updated with the latest album information. Please give it a few more days and let us know if it still doesn’t appear, thank you.
Same for me. It is clearly on Tidal but not through Roon. Pretty poor for such a major release
But it was released on Aug 29, 5 days ago. The help says,
“our database is generated multiple times per week, but sometimes a new album will just barely miss the cutoff and will show up in a day or two.”
And the Qobuz version is in Roon.
If you favorite it in Tidal, does it sync into Roon?

Same issue here. I even added the tracks to a playlist in Tidal, but in Roon the playlist just says “This playlist is empty”.

Very poor. Has been since the beginning of Tidal integration in Roon.
@noris @joel , I think enough people have complained over the years, that we are ok with having the Tidal release immediately and with zero metadata, and that can come in 3 days.
@joel why wasn’t it available previously and what is Roon’s plan to correct this going forward?
@Neil_Carpenter The answer was posted three posts above yours. I can’t say exactly why, but TIDAL has had issues delivering data exports to its metadata partners in the last week or so. If the metadata for individual albums are not supplied to us, there is nothing we can do on the Roon side, other than to respond to customer-reported issues in a timely manner. In fairness to TIDAL, they responded very quickly when we escalated the issue to them.
That’s not, precisely, true. This thread started out with Roon support saying “Oh, you just need to wait a few days” when the integration was in a broken state – the report didn’t trigger Roon to investigate; instead, the response was to delay. Hindsight is 20/20 but that’s not a good look for customer support.
What could Roon do? Monitor & test, same as you should for any external integration. If Tidal had an issue “that was preventing updates from getting sent over properly”, Roon services should’ve identified this quickly and escalated it for a human to respond to. You shouldn’t have to wait for numerous reports to discover that an integration stopped functioning.
