New user question re: support

A new user, still in my trial period.

I’ve posted in the forums twice. The first post received several replies, and the second one, none. Since I’m new here, I wonder: is there a limit to how may times a trial-period user may post in the forums?

If my second post (re: some but not all iTunes/Apple Music app playlists that didn’t migrate to Roon) didn’t get replies because no-one has an answer, is there a way to contact Roon support, aside from the forums? I tried to find what one forum user described as the “real support”, but can only find the forums.

Thanks in advance for all replies.

Hi Christian,

Both your previous posts were in the Roon Software Discussion topic section which is not support requests. To put in a support request Support (click on the green box link to the right) and when there click on the big “Get Help” button in the blue section. This will start the support form which concludes with creating a post in the support section for your issue.

Cheers,
Danie.

Hi @Christian_Jensen1,

I can see your two topics:

The first one, has been viewed 373 time with 35 posts in total.

The second one has been viewed 24 times, but thus far no one in the community has responded. That’s down to the community members, it’s not a posting restriction.

If you require assistance from Roon technical support, please follow this link to provide the details of your case to Technical Support: Technical Support Request

Respond to the prompts there to ensure that you’ve performed basic troubleshooting and to ensure Technical Support has the full details necessary to expedite Technical Support’s investigation into the case.

Your responses will auto-generate a Community thread in the appropriate section.

I feel like I’ve added a ticket at that link previously, but I just did again. It’s weird that at the end of the prompts I’m prompted with “how can we help?” again. Like, didn’t I just create a post? Did I leave something undone?

Creating a support ticket by way of creating yet another community post is also sort of unexpected.
