Windows 10 Education N
Trying to install Roon on Windows laptop during my trial period. Install on mac OK. I get an error message to the effect that codecs are missing. On going to the suggested page there is simply a statement to the effect that the item has not been written yet. Not very helpful. Any advice welcome. I have only basic tech knowledge.

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet) Not relevant, haven’t got that far yet.

Because you have the Education N version of Windows, this does not have media codecs pre-installed.

These codecs are necessary for Roon to run.

Go here to get the mediapack for the codecs:

Many thanks Seems to be sorted. I had assumed that might be the problem but finding where to do wasn’t easy
