No album art or artist pics/notes after reinstall

Description of Issue

I had to reinstall Roon on my NAS yesterday.
All my music is present and everything plays fine, but there are some but not all artist pictures, notes or album pictures. I’m assuming a rebuild of images would have been done over night.

Any ideas?

A lot of album art work is missing

Thanks for the info. It looks like my qnap got ransomeware attack this morning (or last night) after research through internet. image ,text files and zip files seems to be the target (pdf.png.jpg etc) and .encrypt extension is added to the files , along with README_FOR_DECRYPT.txtt. I never had this type of attack before, and any guide to fix this would be appreciated.

Yes, that was the problem.
Luckily, nothing critical was lost. the ransomware only hit the images, not .flac files.
I’m not going to pay.

but how do I get roon to rebuild my images?
