Yes, it did work.
Not, unfortunately, in my case. No optical audio coming from the toslink port. Maybe because mine is a Digi2 and not a DAC. But the display works. From where is the audio coming out in your configuration and how do you feed the display, Feank?
Yeah. You have a different HAT. Mine is this one https://www.hifiberry.com/shop/boards/digi2-pro/
Indeed I tried to use the Jutboom Digi driver too, but no luck in getting the optical audio. I also tried to buy that JustBoom Digi hat but could not find it anywhere. But thank you for sharing!
Just as a heads up - Iām having the same problem with a HiFiberry Dac2 HD (Raspberry Pi4b) the bizarre thing is that with (I think) identical components in a different device, the display works fine with the correct HAT selected in RoPieee
After a LONNNNNNNNg session of faffing around⦠time to buy a new HAT I think ![]()
Hi,
The same issue with a hat NVdigi.
Is there any HAT with SPDIF/Toslink and NVMe that works with Display 2?
BTW I think i have narrowed the issue down somewhat
The two Pi/HAT/Display devices are the sameā¦
- one device has a fresh install - the display doesnāt work - I had to go for USB audio off the Pi
- the other device has been updated many times over 2-3 years - the display works with the HiFiBerry Hat
Hope this helps and, as ever, thanks!!
