Moving forward, may I very kindly ask you to please confirm that 'Hide Volume Control in Roon", is still set to “No” and is not in an active state.
I had experienced the same behavior with my B&W A7 previous to this update with one of my “test cores” and since updating the mentioned device to the new build I have had no troubles with controlling the volume on the A7. I did notice that I had to toggle the mentioned switch first to regain control of the volume.
