Node, Arcam ST60 or Cambridge CXN?

I need a new Roon endpoint for my main system? Using it with a MAC7200 which has an ESS DAC, so I won’t be limited to the devices internal DAC.

The arcam has only a ESS9038K2M DAC chip.

And the CXN V2 (I own one)has a super outdated dual Wolfson DAC.

I’m happy with it. But I’m pretty sure the DAC in your Macintosh is better.

And if all you need is a alternative DAC+roon endpoint you could just get a raspberry pi + a external DAC like Gustard X18, SMSL Su9-n , D300, Topping D90SE etc
