Nothings working this morning

I don’t have playback issues, it’s just all the cloud stuff is on slow Mo mode and either doesn’t load or takes minutes.

Since 1.8 I have seen rather too much of that jellyfish (I’m in the UK). Seriously thinking of binning Tidal as it is becoming a liability.
EDIT: Just seen the Roon jellyfish’s drinking buddy, ‘This track is not currently available from Tidal’…

I’m on Qobuz in the UK and its no better to be honest. So I wouldnt jump from TIDAL for that reason alone.

Qobuz can definitely be flaky but on today’s issues at least I agree with @Simon_Arnold3, this feels like an issue with Roon’s infrastructure rather than the streaming platform. My Qobuz sections in the Roon app are working fine, but the Valence bits are all jellyfish…

EDIT: Actually it just all started working again for me, about 0845 UK time. My ROCK boots up at 0715 everyday and the Valence bits had been down since then, so that’s an 1.5 hour outage. But it could well have been unresponsive since before 0715 of course.

Also I have noticed this behaviour more on Friday mornings. So I wonder if it’s the database updates from streaming that’s causing it to overload. I posted a ticket last Friday got no response from support at all. Rinse and repeat it feels like.

Hello, I use Roon on a Nucleus with Qobuz and a Moon 390. Everything is working fine from morning to night every day. No issue at à all.

See above.

New Releases for you is still a week out of date even after this being fixed :man_facepalming:
