Introducing Jeppe Zacho. Available on Tidal and Qobuz and, of course as is the case with about 100% of all new jazz releases on these two music streaming services, with no useful information or metadata. Here’s what I found on Bandcamp Jeppe Zacho

I just posted this Elephant. Please add your voice to this issue. Thanks!

Another wonderful new release, available on Tidal and Qobuz, with absolutely no useful information or metadata available, even via a Google search. Oh well, at least the music is enjoyable. Ton Risco - Sete

Wow, this album is impressive. For a drummer to take up the vibes successfully and incorporate this traditional jazz sound and make it contemporary is quite an accomplishment.

From “El Correo Gallego” via Google Translate:

Ton Risco, professor at the Professional Conservatory of Santiago, has released a new album titled Sete. Signed as Ton Risco Quinteto and published by the Mingus Records label, it was presented in Compostela last Friday at the Riquela Club and this week it will be played at El Cercano, a venue in Ourense, the homeland of this vibraphonist based in Compostela. He plays with a line-up that includes Pablo Añón (tenor sax), Miguel Cabana (drums), Alfonso Calvo (double bass) and William Díaz (trombone). Ton Risco, a good musician whom we heard this year in Santiago, at the Teatro Principal, in his duet project with guitarist Marcos Teira, grows in the jazz scene after training at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague (Holland). Graduated in classical percussion and vibraphone, he releases Sete after previous albums such as his work with Puerta Sur, Azabache (2020). Sete is the third album of his solo career after works like Impronunciable (FreeCode, 2012) and Ginger, Lemon and Honey (FreeCode 2015).
