‘Chilled out’ Jazz.
Excellent recording by Jared Sacks and mastering by Tom Caulfield (both of Channel Classics renown).

NOT available on Tidal or Qobuz, which is just one more reason why one needs a local library as well as music streaming services.

Pierre Dørge & New Jungle Orchestra - Jazzhus Montmartre (Live) (2025)
New release, available on Tidal and Qobuz
Since, as is becoming the “usual”, that is no useful information, aka metadata, about this release on either Tidal or Qobuz, here is what I found via Google. By the way, I thought that one of the reasons for us paying Roon $150/year was to automatically get metadata. As one can see by reading the information below, the metadata is available. Description

Formed an incredible 45-years ago, guitarist/composer Pierre Dorge takes his New Jungle Orchestra to its home turf Copenhagen’s fabled Jazzhus Montmartre to record live their latest album filled with all but one new vibrant compositions by Dorge.

Donald Elfman of All About Jazz once remarked, “Pierre Dorge has what seems like a magical ability - he can re-imagine and re-think the way that music is voiced thus creating entire new worlds out of worlds we think we know.”

Pierre Dorge: guitar, vocal, conductor
Gunnar Halle: trumpet
Jakob Mygind: tenor and soprano saxophone
Anders Banke: tenor saxophone, clarinet, bass clarinet
Kenneth Agerholm: trombone, vocal
Irene Becker: piano, synthesizer, vocal
Thommy Andersson: bass
Ayi Solomon: congas, percussion
Martin Andersen: drums
Recorded live December 2, 2023

New release, available on Tidal and Qobuz. As usual released with no metadata. I mean come on the name of the musicians are there on the cover. This lack of metadata is making my Roon experience very one dimensional. Not what I pay $150/year for.

I listened to Chet for 3 hours yesterday while I washed and waxed my car.

Three hours to wash and wax one car? Too bad you still missed that spot by the left passenger tire
