Ha I’m a music nerd.
I’m a massive electronic music fan.
From Armin Van Buuren to Miguel Migs to Kiasmos - the last one thanks to your recommendation the other day.

Love soulful house the most probably, with soulful vocals and melodies.
Like this classic, buttery smooth vocals.
Now there’s a thread for electronic music! Nice.
A cool DeBarge sample throughout.
One of my all time favourite tunes
But the embarrassing thing is I only heard it for the first time a couple of months ago
Thanks to Roon Radio shuffling through my library.
This was a great listen @rugby
Love ‘do yourself a favour’. Super soulful and funky with the Roger Troutman inspiration.
Great album JF!
One of my favourites
A gorgeous listen.
“It was such an amazing, awe-inspiring and insanely intimidating task to put this together, although you’d need hours and hours to fit all of Michael’s classic tunes into one track,” Ronson said in a statement. “I wanted this to feel like being on the dancefloor at a sweaty, wild NYC club getting down to as much MJ as possible in five minutes.”
Mission accomplished in my opinion
@Joachim_Fishman @jaguone what MJ track is he sampling right before Human Nature… ?
From 2min37s to 2min50s? Obviously a bit of Remember The Time, but it sounds like Teddy Riley with the ‘da da da’ on loop, but from what song?
Vocals that mimic the synthesizer on Remember The Time. Listen to the original and you will notice. Could it be from a remix or from the original recording that wasn’t on the final release?
I listened and don’t hear it in the original.
Maybe Mark Ronson did this deliberately to make the nerdy MJ fans pull their hair out. I wonder if he might have asked Teddy Riley for an unreleased remix.
Or there’s a released remix I haven’t heard yet
