Nuc 7i5 Memory question

I use an Intel Nuc 7i5 for RoonRock with a Samsung 970 EVO 250 GB M.2 + 8GB DDR4 SODIMM 2400 MHz memory

Would it be useful to add an extra 8GB?

If you have a very large library that would be a good reason…but it wont hurt if you want to add it anyway…other than a dent in your wallet :wink:

My setup is much the same as yours but i7 and only 8gb iirc, I have 200,000 odd tracks in my library

Ref KB: 8gb is more than you will ever need. More than 8GB is not used ever.

I have noted that the app is acting slower since the 1.6 upgrade that is the reasen why i would add another 8gb for having 16gb

Thats not down to your hardware. The Roon servers are under a lot of load and they are still optimising them, mines terribly slow too, more memory wont help you here.
