Description Of Issue
Need to update BIOS on my NUC running ROCK.
I can’t install latest version of BIOS with ROCK installed.
How do I remove ROCK to install BIOS or is there a way to update BIOS with ROCK installed?
You don’t need to uninstall Roon Rock. Save BIOS file on an USB stick, and then go to Intel NUC BIOS and perform update from the stick.
Just follow Intel instructions (e.g. “Readme” section from here https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29282/BIOS-Update-BECFL357-86A-?product=126148).
already tried.Loaded bios to usb,hit f7 selected usb and it just goes back to screen with f2,f7,f10 screen
Got it to work.3rd try it worked.Dont know why first 2 tries didnt’t work.Thanks
You probably don’t need to update unless its a very old NUC
