Description of Issue

Is the Meitner MA3 supported as a Roon endpoint over USB? It’s detected over the network without a problem but I don’t see it when direct connected via USB.

Just to double check basics. Have you gone to Settings/Audio, enabled the usb device and given it a name?

Yup, I have. It doesn’t show up there at all

I may try a different USB cable although I am using a decent one from Pangea.

I would try a bare bones Amazon USB cable.

The Meitner MA3 is an amazing device. I would go with a Supra Excalibur to exploit its potential.

According to this page it looks like the MA3 is only Roon Ready which means Roon only works over a network interface.

Maybe the page just hasn’t been updated?

If anyone has gotten Roon to work over USB for the MA3 please post how you did it.

Hah, did a complete power shut down and reboot and USB for the Meitner MA3 now appears!

Enabled it and it works!
