Nucleus behavior with short power outages

No. I haven’t tried the M.2. I was told by @support that a faulty M.2 wouldn’t cause the nucleus to power down. Yes I guess I might need to crack open the Mini.

I guess you know you can have two Roon cores and switch back and forth at will.

Hi @Larry_Gelman ,

I noticed that your Nucleus hasn’t been online recently. I checked your previous log set but I was not seeing any signs of SSD issues, though I can check again when you turn on the unit.

If you haven’t yet, I suggest you give an OS reinstall and a Database + Settings reset via the Web Interface and then restore from your Mac backup:

I also noticed your Nucleus is a Rev A unit, so that SSD is quite old, swapping it out can be an inexpensive test. As mentioned, I didn’t see any SSD errors yet, but if you want to be on the safe side you can give it a try.

Hi @noris . Thanks for checking in. I sold my Nucleus and using a new Mac Mini. So far so good.
