Nucleus HDMI to Lyngdorf MP-60

I think most of BD players are capable of converting DSD to PCM before sending it out. So you may check your player settings.

Please state the model of your BD player. I’ll see if I can find the setting for you.

It’d also be great to get a confirmation from Lyngdorf.

The BD player is Sony UBP-X1100ES.
Output format is set to “Auto”, and SACD set to playback “DSD Multi” - working, see attached photo.

You are right, the signal is converted to PCM (maybe by the Sony BD), even Lyngdorf is set to accept “bitstream” as HDMI audio input - see attached photos.

Will share feedback here once received from Lyngdorf.
Thanks for your help.

Yes. Sony detected the Lyngdorf to not accept DSD via HDMI handshake, so Sony converts the DSD to PCM before sending it to Lyngdorf.

The Lyngdorf will again resample it to its internal DSP sampling rate, usually 96kHz.
