Nucleus One HDMI display issue with Marantz AV8805A (ref#8DFQ8F)

What’s happening?

· Something’s not working in the Roon interface (buttons, displays, lyrics, etc.)

Describe the issue

I have a new Roon Nucleus One connected to a Roon tested Marantz AV8805A via a HDMI cable connected to the Media Server input on the Marantz. The audio side works fantastic, but the display does not show up on the projector screen. Both the Nucleus One and the Marantz are on the same network, being fed out of the same switch. When I set up the Roon, the Roon interface showed up on the screen for a moment, but then disappeared. Is it possible to for the Roon One to display track, artist, etc.. info on a projector via an HDMI directly connected Marantz processor that it is delivering audio via RAAT?

Describe your network setup

My network is through a TP-Link BE11000 Wifi 7 Mesh system. The router in the theater is backhauled. Both the Nucleus One and the Marantz AV8805A are connected to the 5Gig ethernet outputs of the TP-Link router in the theater

Welcome to the forum! At this time, the HDMI output from a Nucleus is only for audio output and for displaying diagnostic data regarding the unit. We have a feature request to improve capabilities, but I cannot comment on when/if these changes will be implemented. In the meantime, you can use a Chromecast/Android device and use the Web Display functionality to get the desired effect:
