Nucleus One not detecting installed SSD as Internal Music Storage (ref#HH6GHF)

Describe the issue

I have installed a SSD storage in my Nucleus One according to the instructions from Roon. When I search for the storage it doesn't show up as "Internal Music Storage" in the Nucleus Web Administration Interface. What do I have to do to find it?

Just to be sure, you are referring to the WebUI and you don’t see this on it? Where you can format the drrive?

You might check the BIOS to see if it is showing up there.

Need to connect a keyboard and monitor (mouse would help too) then boot while holding DEL key or F12.

If it is not showing in the BIOS you might need to verify the drive is connected properly, or even working, by connecting it to another computer?

Is the drive new? or is it a used one that is being re-purposed?

Yes, I’m referring to the WebUI and I can’t ses the Internal Music Storage there.

I have tried to check the BIOS but I’m not sure how to find the SSD on Nucleus One there.

The SSD is new and I’ve checked the connection and can’t see that there is something wrong. Unfortunately I haven’t got the opportunity to check the SSD with a computer

I do not have a Nucleus One so not sure what you are seeing for BIOS options.
Can you take a picture of the screen you see and post it?

It may be that your “new” SSD is just dead and you may need to return it and get another one?

Welcome to the forum! Just to confirm here, you used the following article to install the hard drive into the Nucleus?

Is this a new SSD or has this been previously used in another system? Do you happen to have another one you can try with?

Yes,I installed according to the instructions. I have now tried another SSD-harddrive with the same result, I can’t find it. Both hardrives are new.

Maybe I should try with the RMA team.
