Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

Tell us what's going on

· My Nucleus only exposes SMB1.
Windows 11 no longer supports SMB1, and iPadOS never has.
I cannot access \
ucleus\Data\RoonServer\Logs.
Can you update my Nucleus OS or Samba configuration so it exposes SMB2 or SMB3?
If not, please provide an alternate supported method to retrieve logs.

Mounting Data from my Nucleus One, on my Mac, shows:

What type of Nucleus do you have?

Indeed it supports higher SMB versions and I suppose @Bill_McDonald‘s problem is not the SMB version but the fact that Microsoft has taken to disallowing the accessing of SMB shares without authentication by default, i.e. the common thing explained here:

Hello @Bill_McDonald,

As Suedkiez correctly identified, this is not an SMB version issue — your Nucleus supports SMB 2 and 3. The problem is that recent Windows 11 updates disabled guest access to SMB shares by default.
