On Ubuntu Roonserver not able to mount network driver with error

Hi Support,

Try to mount the network share from roon remote. it result on error message, “Mount error: could not resolve address for : Unknown error”

Any suggestion would be helpful.

Could you specify what and how you’re mounting?
Thus show the url?

The error message suggests that it can not resolve the address of the network share.

I,m mounting it through Roon remote UI. With smb path.

I had Roonserver running on Lubuntu without any problems. Did you first download and install the packages required for smb paths?

You mean the cifs packages? Yes, installed

Can you please show exactly what you are entering for the path?

finally last night I use the ip address and it worked. but i just not sure why it won’t connect with device name.
