Hello @dr.ear

Thank you for reaching Roon support.

Can you try clearing your endpoint cache? You can do so using the following steps:

  • Create a fresh backup
  • Stop Roon (or RoonServer)
  • Find and open your Roon or RoonServer folder
  • Navigate to /Roon/Database/Registry/Core/
  • Delete all the endpoint_ files in this directory.
  • Restart Roon
  • Please let us know if this helps

Note: Deleting these files will

  • Delete your audio device information

If this doesn’t help, please restore the backup you made before trying these steps.

Hello @vadim

Thank you so much for your quick response. Unfortunately, I have a RoonServer installed to VitOS on Rhein Z1c. I tried several hours to find /Roon/Database/Registry/Core/ but all I see via my network is the only folder “Backup”. I tried to “reset database & config” with mobile app. After all, I have the same problem as it was from the beginning.

Hi @dr.ear,

For due diligence, please verify that you’re on the latest firmware for the RZ70 (the last update was in March, according to their website).

From there, reboot RoonServer.

Please share a screenshot of the Roon Settings → Audio page from there.

Hi @connor

Thank you for your post. In fact, my RZ70 has the latest firmware version.

Several RoonServer & RZ70 reboots helped. Actually, I couldn’t distinguish which reboot played the major role, but finally I got three audio devices at the Roon Ready section now. Thank you so much!

Hi @dr.ear,

That is fantastic news! I am glad to hear that everything is back to normal and your Onkyo RZ70 is displaying correctly under the Roon Ready section.

Since you are back up and running, I will go ahead and close this thread as resolved. If you run into any other quirks or need assistance in the future, please do not hesitate to open a new topic.

Happy listening!

Thank you so much!

Hello @dr.ear
