OpenGL 2.1 compatibility?

I have the same problem
all the updated drivers, I can’t start the demo

Question: Does Roon 1.6 work with OpenGl 2.1? and version 1.7 needs version 3.0?

We’ve always required OpenGL 3.0, but there were previously some cases where older machines may have barely squeezed by and remained working despite this requirement. With 1.7 we are using more OpenGL 3.0 features, so older devices without full OpenGL 3.0 support will likely not work anymore.

If you use GL View, what version does it say your device is running? Can you share a screenshot? It will look like this:

I checked, it only supports OpenGL 2.1
do you have a solution? a previous version of Roon?

Now that we are using more OpenGL 3.0 features, unfortunately, some devices with older hardware that doesn’t fully support OpenGL 3.0 will not be able to be used.
