Looking to try something new.
I got a d50 from massdrop. I like the sound, but am getting occasional dropouts where roon loses contact with the audio device. Haven’t had much of a chance to play around debugging yet, so it could be the d50, or cables, or driver’s…
It’s usually solid for an hour and after that seems to lose the d50 every few minutes. Previously was using a squeezebox touch as an endpoint without problems.
a quick follow-up - I think the culprit was a different usb device which was defective plugged in to the same pc as the dac.
everything has been running smoothly since I removed it - the d50 sounds very nice, particularly for the price
