Order of exported playlists (defaults to alphabetical over playlist order)

I am trying to export my playlists (as Excel) with the manual ordering they were assigned in Roon.

However on export they always seem to be ordered alphabetically, which (effectively) results in a random playlist when imported/synced back to Qobuz or Spotify.

Am I missing a setting or is this how it works? If the latter is this something that can be changed as the manual ordering of playlists is an important part of how they are used.

Sort order on Excel export

Output excel list in sort order from the view that is being exported. And/or better yet, add date added to the columns output to the excel spreadsheet.

Exported Playlist in the correct order?

Does anyone know how to get the exported playlist in the correct order? The playlist is exported, but all songs are sorted by artist name. For playlist that set the mood as the progress this is not useful.

Playlist Export functionality

I too want to rebuild my DB but would like to maintain Playlists. If there is no “automagically” way of doing that, I would like to manually recreate them. However, I want the ORDER of the tracks in each playlist to remain as I originally created them. The Excel Export does NOT keep the tracks ordered as they originally were! Roon’s 1st. column (in a Playlist) contains the track numbering that I would like to maintain. If the original track ordering can’t be maintained in the Excel output,…

Rugby is correct, @j_a_m_i_e — There is no option to change how the export works at this time. Adding to the existing feature requests is definitely the best option for now. Thanks for the feedback!
