Just connected Oppo HA-2 (portable headphones Amp/ DAC) to the USB port on a Windows 8 PC, where Roon Core is hosted. Downloaded the Oppo driver, and selected Oppo USB as source.
Everything plays fine, but not perfect. Playing Tidal Hifi FLAC files. Signal path does not show purple on Oppo, just green.

Is this normal?
Yes if you are using the system output.
If you go into Settings > Audio and click the gears icon next to the Oppo, are you able to click Exclusive Mode under the Playback tab?
