Pink Floyd albums from Tidal not playing in Roon (ref#Y2DK6U)

· No, it does not show up there

· The device has no problems with another audio source

· I've checked the firewall and the issue remains

If the device has multiple output options, do the other options work as expected?

· Multiple output types are affected

Is the device using the latest firmware as per the manufacturer?

· Firmware is up-to-date but the issue remains

Do you have an approximate timestamp of when the issue last occurred?

· all albums from Meddle on

What are the make and model of the affected audio device(s) and the connection type?

· same as above

This playback failure appears to be caused by TIDAL returning a 401 Unauthorized error with the message Asset is not ready for playback. This suggests that the requested tracks may not be available for streaming in your region, are temporarily unavailable, or there may be an issue with TIDAL account authentication in Roon.

Here are a couple of things to try:

  • Log out of TIDAL in Roon (Settings > Services > TIDAL).
  • Restart Roon and log back into TIDAL.

Also, can you test playback using the official TIDAL app for the same track? That will help determine if the issue is on TIDAL’s end.

Hi Daniel. Thanks for your reply. I tried the things you did suggest. Nothing good is happened. In Tidal app the tracks are playing back without problem. In Roon app appears “track is not currently available from Tidal” :frowning:

Thanks for the follow up! Can you please confirm your Tidal playback settings? Head to Roon Settings>Services>Tidal>Edit and review your playback streaming quality.

Can you test out playing the same content in a different resolution?

Lastly, see if re-syncing your Tidal account helps: Roon Settings > Services

  • Restart Roon Server.
  • Log back into Tidal.

Changing playback resolution > log out > log back > re-syncing, finally helped.
Now is working.
