What’s happening?

· I'm having trouble playing music

Describe the issue

Play buttons don't engage at all. I try pushing Play in iOS app and also on desktop where Server resides, and it doens't do anything. Tried changing outputs, adding outputs, the buttons don't even seem to recognize the action. Have already tried re-installing iOS apps on two different devices.

Have you rebooted everything including the server?

Thanks to both of you - a reboot of the PC hosting the server seems to have fixed the playback. Any idea what causes this? Should I just default to reboots whenever something hangs?

Rebooting is always a good first troubleshooting step. As for what went wrong it’s hard to say. Most likely it’s nothing to worry about if a restart fixed it. If it happens again let us know and we can do a deeper investigation.
