Hi @Greg_Caldock ,
Thank you for posting. We can investigate diagnostic logging to pinpoint the error if you provide a timestamp or the dropout or the name of the track playing when music stopped.
We’ve attempted to pull logs from the backend but your RoonServer instance has so far failed to response to our servers. To expedite troubleshooting, you can use the directions found here and send manual logs as a .zip file (compressed) to our Logs Uploader Service .
Hi,
I upgraded my home network to use a TP Link Deco mesh instead of relying on Virgin Media’s Hub 4 wifi and the problem seems to be resolved.
When I tails the Roon Server logs using the Virgin Hub I was seeing a lot of warniung messages like this during playback:
08/27 10:56:44 Warn: [Office not groupable] [zoneplayer/raat] long rtt sync KEF LSX II: realtime=1272792158536790 rtt=149500us offset=1189891517536us delta=143179us drift=140112us in 48.8825s (2866.307ppm, 10318.704ms/hr)
And then it would eventually be unable to find any Roon Ready device and quit playback.
Using the new mesh I’m not seeing any warnings in the logs and playback has been running without a hitch for several hours now.
I’ll continue to monitor the situation but so far all seems good.
