Purchased a Roon Nucleus and having issues with 2-3 second drop outs of playback. Running a wired ethernet connection with 400MB/s connection speed. Tried running on Mac Mini and having identical issue. Endpoint is a HIFI Rose RS130 streamer and Anthem AVM90 pre amp.
Using a Netgear router and Netgear Orbi Mesh system with 3 signal repeaters for Wifi. Again, I have the Roon Nucleus plugged directly into the Netgear router via a network switch.
I absolutely love the Roon service but getting ready to call it quits as this has been a frustrating experience. Any assistance is much appreciated.

Describe your network setup
Netgear router with Orbi Mesh system. 1 parent and 2 satellites. Using Nucleus which is hardwired to Orbi parent.
Thank you for your post. We’ve requested diagnostic logging from the Nucleus One in question but the unit has so far been unresponsive. At your convenience, please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader to expedite our investigation. We’ve requested them from the Mac Mini server instance in the meantime.
Once we see logs, we’ll be able to identify the precise cause of the dropout. As a test in the meantime, see if you can reproduce the dropouts playing low-quality tracks (like 44.1SKHz/16-bit FLAC files or mp3s). Also test if you get dropouts on the System Output of the Mac Mini itself.
What is the network switch model you’re using, and where does the HiFi Rose connect in the mesh topology?
Certain managed switches at L3 will have granular QoS, packet scheduling, or STP implementation that can interfere with Roon’s protocols. We can usually offer suggestions based on the model.
I’d first ensure that “Disable IGMP Proxying” is unchecked in your Orbi mesh settings, and that IGMP Snooping and multicast are broadly enabled throughout this network.
