Describe the issue

When I press the play button, in the timeline there is just a blue thing coming to the left and the right and I can't hear anything. I also would like to know why I cannot use ASIO instead of WASAPI(I use IFI audio go link DAC and connect to In-ear headphones), when I press the ASIO one, it says Device
initialization failed.
How can I fix these things?

Describe your network setup

I just use ethernet connect to my laptop(ASUS X415).

after i restart my laptop, it worked but still cannot use ASIO it still says Device
initialization failed. Does anyone know why?

Hello @chrisyang07302006 ,

When this issue occurs are there any other apps making use of the device? Do you have the iFi drivers installed?

No, there is no other app using this device. I only downloaded the latest firmware version 1.92 to my IFI go link.

Hi @chrisyang07302006,
Can you please share a screenshot of your Roon audio settings?

Hey @chrisyang07302006,

Thanks for sharing the additional information!

Based on your issue, are you able to test out playing a lower-quality track instead of 16-bit/44.1 kHz, and see if the same issue occurs?

Or, have you tried adjusting the sample rate conversion in DSP settings to match a format that Realtek ASIO supports, such as 48 kHz or 24-bit?
