Playback Queue Skipping and Stopping with Error (ref#CSG90B)

What best describes your playback issue?

· Music doesn't start when I press "Play"

What type of Zone is affected by this problem?

· *All of my Zones* are affected.

· The issue affects *multiple/all* file formats.

Does the issue happen with local library music, streaming service music, or both?

· *Both streaming and local* *library* music are affected.

Do you encounter any playback errors with the "System Output" Zone?

· The System Output has the same problem as my other Zone.

Do you have a complex network setup?

· Both the device and RoonServer are connecting to a *single router*

No matter what I select to play, it does not play the first song in the queue, jumps to several next selections then says "Too many Failures. Stopping Playback"

Sorry to ask what may be obvious, Having already rebooted your router, have you rebooted your server & client devices (zones)? Quite often that will resolve such playback problems…?

I did thank you. The issues stems from my Sound settings, I have to choose speakers that are set for stereo, if I choose something with 5.1, it just breaks the player.

So presumably “normal” two channel playback is ok, if that’s the case I can’t help (I’ve never used multi-channel) good luck with your search, someone will help soon…:crossed_fingers:

Would you kindly send us a screenshot of the Settings → Audio → Device Setup?

Have you configured the “Send stereo/mono content as 5.1” in the advanced settings as on the screenshot attached?
