Hello @avrkobi,

Welcome to the community!

When tracks stop playing after exactly 30 seconds, this is a classic symptom of your streaming service (like TIDAL or Qobuz) reverting to “preview mode.”

This almost always means there is an issue with the streaming subscription itself, rather than a bug in Roon. Please check the following:

  • Subscription Status: Log into your streaming account directly on their website to ensure your subscription is active, fully paid, and hasn't expired or lapsed.
  • Correct Account: Double-check that you haven't accidentally logged into a free tier or an alternative account that doesn't have an active premium subscription.
How to fix it in Roon: Once you've confirmed your subscription is active, open Roon and go to Settings > Services. Click Logout next to your streaming service, and then log right back in with your active credentials to refresh the handshake.

Hi @avrkobi,

Do you encounter this problem if you play these tracks via the Tidal web player?

Playback cutting off at precisely 0:30 indicates that the streaming service hasn’t given your account full access. If you’ve verified that your Tidal account is currently subscribed and active, try forcing a sync of your Tidal account in Roon via Settings → Services → Tidal.

We’ll watch for reply. Thank you!
