Description of Issue

Occasionally, a track is played a double speed (or at least in chipmunk territory!). Stopping and resuming stays at the high speed (and high pitch) but when I restart the track from the beginning all is fine again… Can’t be reproduced on demand - seems to be random.

This is similar to Playing in double time [Solved] raised a few years ago.

Anyone else experiencing this?

This means the DAC is operating at the wrong frequency. Make sure you upgrade the DAC to the latest firmware, and power cycle both the Mac and the DAC.

Thanks Peter. I was 3 firmware versions behind. Just updated - will keep an eye on occurrences. Thanks again!
