Playlist browser is not remembering display preference. Every time I load Roon Remote I choose "By name" for my playlists, and it never remembers state so it always goes back to "By date modified". FWIW Roon ARC remembers correctly.

This is a known bug going back to the change where they allowed playlists to be displayed in the sidebar.
It works for me (remembers the sort) in the current Early Access version, so I guess this was fixed
I recommend keeping an eye on that, because it sometimes works for me as well, but then it reverts…

Thank you for posting. The fix for this particular issue has since merged to the production build, unless I’m mistaken. This symptom represents a possible regression. Let me investigate the current status with QA and we’ll return here as soon as we have conclusive information for a next step on this report.

Roon server stay running during this process for sure. I don’t know if it happens no matter the roon device I use because right now I’m using only one remote client on Windows 11.
Correct, it happens across all my remotes.
Roon server definitely still running, I’ve had music going during some of my testing. I can open Roon, set my preference, navigate away from playlists, close Roon, reopen Roon and the preference is gone.
Still happens to me too with current production build.
Thanks for the additional info @Dario @James_Fitzell @DDPS - our engineers we’re able to reproduce and have a fix ready to release that will likely be included in the next early access, and then production update!
