Thanks for reaching out to us to ask about this issue. I think we’ll need a bit more information to help you out.

  • When you try to save your Tidal playlists do you see any error messages?
  • Can you tell us a name of a playlist that this has happened with?
  • Are you having any trouble playing music from Qobuz?
Once you respond with the answers to these questions we’ll be able to advise you on some next steps.

It is universal in that it does NOT improve any tidal playlists. I also won’t save changes I’ve made to a playlist; I rearrange the order of a playlist. I do a quick buffering cycle and revert to the original playlist. Additionally, I am not a Qobuz subscriber.

Thanks for confirming that information, can you please reproduce this behavior on a specific playlist, and let us know the exact local time + date + playlist name you see it occur on? We’ll enable diagnostics to see if there are any clues in your logging. I tried this on a TIDAL playlist on my end, and it did upgrade the song quality and preserve it after re-arranging. If you are able to record a short video and upload it to our media uploader, that can also additionally help:
