Playlist song grouping

I’d like a feature to group tracks together, so they always play in the same sequence when shuffling a playlist.

This occurs on some live albums where the songs are blended together; it breaks the flow if they’re not played together.

e.g. Tracks 41-44: Live At Red Rocks '22 | King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard

Here’s a helpful article about Roon’s File Tag Best Practice; especially the Work/Part tags are important in your case: You should be able to get your problem album straightened out. It’s not only a cosmetic problem of presentation in the GUI, but also a problem of falsely identifying parts of a work as compsitions in their own right. But yes, I am with you, I also generally prefer just listening to the music. Wish Roon would make it easier for us to correct these composition grouping errors…

Roon’s File Tag Best Practice;

Interestingly enough, the same album makes use of those tags with tracks 46-51, for example, as one “work” since it is meant to be a cohesive piece. Thanks for the info!

I’ll use the KB you cited to do this for additional tracks as I see fit.
