Helo @likeanice1903 , I’ve updated the URL. Try now.
Hello, can you take a look at KRTU-FM? I can listen through the website but not through Roon live radio. Thanks.
I updated the streams. try them our and let us know if they work for you.
That did it, thank you!
“670 The Score” in Chicago IL is no longer working (the Roon URL is 670thescore.radio.com) I think it moved to Audacy @ Chicago Sports Station - WSCR-AM | 670 The Score Chicago but I don’t know if that is accessible to Roon.
Hello @Steve_Davies1 , I’ve found an alternative stream - try now.
It sounds like it’s working — I had to start it a couple of times (it kept stopping after 10 seconds) but now it’s been running for about 5 minutes. I’ll let you know if I run into other problems. Thanks!
Are you running Rock? If so, check out this thread on updating ffmpeg. It could be that different parts of the broadcast use slightly different forms of the .m3u8 stream.
I hade the problem with Roon Server on latest MacOS (even then updated the codecs). So I moved to Roon Rock server and added latest ffmpeg codec (from here John Van Sickle - FFmpeg Static Builds → this 64bit binary ffmpeg-git-amd64-static.tar.xz) and now it works perfectly. Its definetly the old codec issue.
I don’t think so? I’m running an original Nucleus+
Been testing it for a bit to see what happens.
Updating the ffmpeg has not worked in my case, with the 670 the score station, it will either stop after 5 seconds or it might go for 6-7 minutes, it is hit or miss. I have tried four different versions of ffmpeg (2017 and 2021 versions) including the latest 2024 7.0.1 version. None of them work for me.
This is on Rock BTW.
Sublime has about 5 stations playing various genres. They have all stopped working. The message says that the address may have changed.
Hello @Jeffrey_Gilliam , I’ve updated those streams, try now.
Ok, I’ve changed the url for 670 The Score.
I think things should work now .
It seems to be working now for me, got over 13 minutes so far with no stoppage.
This is with latest ffmpeg 7.0.1
Looks like there is some sort of a problem with all Radio Paradise FLAC streams. They are coming in as AAC 44.1kHz 2ch 318kbps.
In fact, they currently WILL NOT play (silence), but that is what the metadata shows. I noticed this because the metadata indicator for RP stations is usually blue but currently it is yellow.
FWIW, this problem seemed to have occurred some time between 11 am and noon CDT and continues to be an issue at 3 p.m.
Hope you can get this problem resolved quickly. Thanks
The site seems to be down for everyone according to updownradar.
Thanks, BrianW.
I didn’t think to check the actual source, but you appear to be correct. Also no audio or streaming activity via the RP Android app.
Flac streams working now.
