Unfortunately, the metadata for RP is provided via the metadata service that was set up by @alec_eiffel who is no longer active. Roon itself do not wish to maintain it and so I fear any improvements may not be forthcoming.

For what little it’s worth, we get the same on iOS devices, so it’s not just Android that has the issue. RP is pretty much the only station we listen to - I was going to try other stations to see how well (or not) their metadata works by comparison, so I could then raise the issue here, but I’ve not yet had the time to do so, and anyway it sounds as if it’ll not get fixed if the guy who sorted RP metadata streams is no longer here.

I don’t know for sure if this post is in the right place, but here my try:
I’ve been enjoying ibiza live radio a lot recently. The station has updated their stream. This stream is available through their website and TuneIn.

In the Roon live radio directory, I can only find their old streaming address. This stream wil go offline shortly and contains that message regularly.

I’m not able to find a new address that I can enter as the new one in Roon, although it should be possible to insert a TuneIn address:
#NowPlaying - @ibizaliveradio on @TuneIn-radio! http://tun.in/se9YK

Can this new address be added to the Roon Library please?

Radio Paradise Main Mix is down on Roon. No audio, though it indicates it’s connecting via MP3. Metadata showing Patti Griffen Usless Desires.

The other three RP Mixes appear to be fine.

I have hidden the Radio Paradise Main Mix streams that are not working (for me right now).
I added another FLAC stream but then the Original FLAC stream started working again for whatever reason. I left four choices that are working for me in Roon.
Metadata took a minutes or so to update but seems to be working again, also.

Take a look, the stream seems a little flaky so let us know if you have issues.

I had a visit from Germany this weekend and they mentioned Deutschlandfunk radio. I could not find it searching in Roon and I could also not add the direct links. No service found, or something… I’ve seen the thread from 2022, Please add Deutschlandfunk, but I still can’t add it…
Is it me or Roon? =)

How are you searching? Are you using the top right magnifying glass - not the one below? (This catches many people out)
