Post-Windows 11 update, Roon server inaccessible (ref#L821U8)

Is Roon Server running?

· No, Roon Server is not running.

For Roon connectivity to work properly, both Roon Server and Roon Remote need to be turned on.

· I can't turn on Roon Server, I need help.

After a Windows 11 update, I no longer have access to my Roon server. Therefore, I no longer have access to Roon

Also,can you pelase explain what exactly happens ? Does Roon App crash or Roon Server ? Did you try to manually start Roon Server ?

Just chiming in here - if the update triggered the issue with Roon, a common cause is the Windows Defender firewall flagging the new Roon update because it’s technically a new binary.

If you haven’t already, add RoonServer.exe and Roon.exe to the Windows Defender safelist along with the other Roon background processes. You’ll need to repeat this step in any anti-virus or third-party network security software you have installed on Windows RoonServer machines and Remotes in this setup.
