Hi all

Anyone try powering Sotm gear with anything other than the 500, Paul Hynes power supplies seem to get rave reviews but on the pricy side. I realise this is a Sotm group but we are audiophiles also :joy:

Hi, yes I now use the FARAD Super 3 with my SOtM 10g. Vast improvement over the sps500

I will now be selling my sps500

Thanks for the reply , wow it’s really a noticeable improvement. I currently have no power supply so I guess the 500 would be an improvement for me but I will look at the Farad for sure.

I will be putting my sps500 upf for sale here soon so keep an eye out if you are interested.

If you have the money I would def go for the FARAD over the sps500, but it’s more expensive. A used sps500 is quite a bit cheaper but performance not as good…imho of course
