Wow these speakers have changed my mind as to what a small box is capable of. Having to downsize considerably from floorstanders for a number of reasons but number one to control too much bass and was not expecting something this small to sound that good. It’s shown my what my room was hiding in all that boom. Even DSP was not good enough and I can’t use it for my analogue side. Got these on demo today after trying out 5 differnet sets at my dealer. I will be ordering a pair on Monday in Walnut plus the rather nice SolidSteel stands he lent me two.

Happy camper, I can return from headphones to enjoy my main rig again.

Tablettes are really good. I think if you played them to people out of sight they would be amazed by their teeny tinyness.

I tried the Neat Iota Alphas too at the shop. So cute , so tiny but sadly lacking drive, amazing tweeter though it best everything for on that. I imagine their bigger brother are very nice but out of my price range.

Its a start of a beautiful relationship, my new tabs have arrived.

How do you like those stands? I am in the States and they are sold here. One of the largest Naim dealers in the UK highly recommends them for stand mount speakers.

I have my original pair of ProAc Super Tablettes from 1987 which I am planning on resurrecting and using with my inbound newly serviced Naim Nait 2

What “footers” are you using in place of the floor spikes? What about under the speakers?

PS - I think u r on the Naim forum?

I love the stands, SolidSteel SS6 filled them 3/4 with Atacama Atabites to add more damping. Its opened up more bass and midrange. I use Iso Acoustics Gai III isolators for the feet. I had them on my previous speakers so repurposed then as I hate spikes, my flooring suffered too much last time I used them even with shoes. The Gai work really well and help tighen up the sound. They do a few different ones dependant on the weight your loading them with.

Yes I am on the Naim forum , same name.

Thanks for the reply. I’m on the Naim forum as well (+20 yrs). Run a 552/500/LP12/dCS
