I just bought a Google Pixel 8 Pro and have a problem with Roon Lock Screen Controls.

Following your instructions as described in the article below roon sends notifications to Android permanently (like ervery 2 seconds) and therefore I get a notification sound every 2 seconds.

Of course I could mute all notifications, but I don't want to do this because I want it for messages...

The only option I have is disable Lock screen controls in Roon and then I cannot use my hardware buttos to control volume

The support of roon really sucks.
You get answers that don't help, then you cannot answer by answering to the mail you get from them, and your support requests gets posted in the community.
The software is really expensive and needs to have good support.
Now again my problem:
On Google Pixel 8 Pro with android 14 Roon sends Notification every second or so when lock screen control is enabled. It is not possible to turn notifications of for Roon in Android 14. See screenshot

Hi jogau,

Thanks for writing in!

Have you by chance reviewed @AMT helpful comment above? It’s good to note that lock screen controls is still in beta. You have the option to disable them via your Roon Settings>Setup on your Android device.

I have the same issue on pixel 7a.
Turning notifications off in the app does doesn’t fix the issue.
I disabled the roon lock screen widget: notifications are silent again so I can enjoy my music
