I have an Intel NUC (NUC11TNBi7), 32GB RAM

Welcome to the Roon Optimized Core Kit Setup
Would you like to:

  1. Install Roon Optimized Core Kit on this device?
  2. Recover a previous install of Roon Optimized Core Kit on this device?

On which disk would you like to install?
Please type a number (1—1) and hit ENTER > 1

Roon Optimized Core Kit is meant to be installed on an SSD, and not a spinning disk.
If you do not have a SSD, we strongly recommend you turn off this machine and go get one.
If you have one, make sure you are installing to to the SSD.

NOTE: Installing to this disk will permanently erase its existing contents and can not be undone.
Are you sure you want to install on this disk? (please confirm it is an SSD)
107GB, QEMU HARDDISK
Please type Y or N and hit ENTER > Y

Preparing Disk
Install RoonOS
Setting up RoonOS for first use

@Fredrik_Andersson2, I have moved this to the Tinkering category since virtualization isn’t supported by Roon.

Please note that ROCK (a custom Linux OS) should be installed on bare metal, i.e., a supported Intel NUC. You may find it easier to install the Roon Server binary for Linux.
