Folk prog?
Just listened to this, very impressed!
I think it might be their best work yet.
Thank you!
This Winter Machine are excellent!
Fish-era Marillion at pretty much their best. I’ve seen many bands at this venue but, unfortunately, not Marillion.
I saw them very early on at Nottingham Rock City and actually met Fish in person.
He scared the crap out of us as it was the time period where he was wearing camo and grease paint, before they became" pop" stars…lol.
Let’s just say he was very intense…
He remains very intense. His Weltchmerz album from last year is very intense - I got the box set and the stuff he wrote for that is a great insight into his very complex personality. Steve Rothery is, on the other hand, one of the all time great prog guitarists.
the more I listen to it the more I think the same, very nice band.
check this one out, it may be in the “extreme” side of things… not sure if prog… but hell I like it:
Looks like that might be more of a post for the Metal thread
sorry I am bad with genres… listen to it, that lady is serious
Sure looks intriguing though whichever genre it might be!
Added to my to listen to list!
Going to have a listen to this.
Just following up Kauan with some Led Zeppelin first
Kauan, interesting, got to listen to it.
No apologies needed, it was a tongue in cheek response.
Going to be added by me as well.
You are most welcome to post in the Metal thread, we are always happy for new posters and finding new music
I just posted it in the what we are listening to April 2021. It’s an excellent atmospheric metal album. Well worth a listen
